In collaboration with London College of Fashion and Kering, I worked on a collaborative project called “Make It Happen”. With this project my teammates and I won the Kering x LCF curriculum and were invited to the Kering headquarters in Paris to present the concept and our developed communication strategy.

The intention was to connect the Materials Innovation Lab and the Kering designers to use the full potential and knowledge of the MILab. We felt like designers have a very limited time to do material research – using material innovation is about finding the suitable material, knowing how to use/sew it and getting in contact with the mills. We wanted to propose a simpler and easier way for the designers to use the help of the Material Innovation Lab through a digital showroom and social media. The facilities of the Material Innovation Lab are limited compared to the high numbers of Kering brands. We wanted to find a solution to rework the communication, which resulted in the development of a website and digital strategy.
